Birthdays, The Zoo & St. George -for chronological order start from the bottom

We took a weekend trip to St. George to attend my close friends wedding. Scott's parents came along and watched Adelaide during the wedding festivities, we had a great time hanging out with them and at the wedding. On the way home, we went on a short hike that had a great lookout point.

Adelaide was a little fish! I was amazed that she naturally knew how to kick and paddle (while daddy held her.) It was really awesome.

She also got her first ice cream cone from her Grandpa... needless to say she loved this yummy treat.

Here she was playing in her water and being a very busy toddler at the restraunt.

I love that she looks so cute in blue, as it isn't one of my best colors.

I helped Sandra find a Luthier to work on Grandma Ursaki's old violin and this is the finished product. It was pretty banged up with cracks and missing pieces, but "with a touch of the Master's hand" it has been restored and is better then it was originally. (That poem is one of my favorites.)

We decided to format Adelaide's birthday around things she would want to do on her big day. So we took her to the Zoo. She would growl and make monkey noises at the different animals. It was one of the best days of my life, I love watching her experience things she loves.

It was so fun to celebrate Scott and Adelaide's birthdays along with St. Patricks Day.

Here is where the fun began

While trying to teach Adelaide how to blow out her candle, she lunged her face forward into the candle and it burned her upper lip and inside her nose. She cried for a few minutes and quickly forgot the incident when she got a taste of her cupcake. Sandra made a gluten free coconut cupcake with coconut frosting just for her. She ate more then I have ever seen her eat, and didn't throw up. Way to go Grandma!
